RICARDO MORATILLA

PHOTOGRAPHER · MADRID, SPAIN

Ricardo Moratilla (Madrid, 1993) is a Spanish photographer whose work moves between fashion photography, portraiture and fine art. His interest in image-making began in 2013, leading him to explore different photographic disciplines and develop a particular sensitivity to aesthetics, light and the representation of the human body.

Influenced by painting and fashion photography, his work combines carefully constructed imagery with an artistic approach to the human figure. Through composition, symbolism and expression, he seeks to create images that reach beyond their appearance, where beauty coexists with vulnerability, and the visible with what remains concealed.

His work explores identity, beauty and the human condition, questioning aesthetic conventions and the way we perceive our own bodies. Each image aims to make an immediate visual impression that, on closer inspection, reveals new emotions, meanings and interpretations.

Working from Madrid, Moratilla continues to develop a photographic language in which fashion, portraiture and artistic expression converge in a shared pursuit: creating photographs that awaken emotion and remain in the viewer’s memory.
